- My interests and ABOUT ME are essentially the same. I love opening my home for a cup of tea or coffee, a meal or a few nights. Being in community is of primary importance. Writing about it and processes struggles helps define who I am. I seek to have an examined life and use my strengths to encourage others and hope to learn from my failures. A goal of mine is to comfort others with the comfort I have found in God.

I've started a new blog here where I talk about the essay, the short story, and the poem I'm reading each day, according to Ray Bradbury's suggestion. It's a great way to soak up ideas. I'm even finding that the shorter essays and stories I read (so I can go to bed having kept my record) are better than the longer ones.
